About Brunch, Bid & Bowl
A great way to celebrate International Women’s Day with friends, family and colleagues.
Brunch, Bid & Bowl is Birchway Niagara’s annual celebration that brings together Allies Against Abuse like YOU to raise vital funds for survivors of domestic violence in South Niagara. By participating, you will help provide compassionate, life-saving services such as safe shelter, a 24-hour support line, and counselling—giving women and families the support they need to break free from the cycle of abuse.
This year, you can help Birchway Niagara to reach their goal of raising more than $110,000—enough to keep two safe beds in operation for an entire year and provide 730 nights of safety for women and children in South Niagara.
Get ready for an unforgettable day! With the dynamic and entertaining Layne, The Auctionista keeping the energy high, you will experience thrilling live and silent auctions, test your luck in the ever-popular “Heads or Tails” game (for a chance to win a $500 Outlet Collection at Niagara gift card, sponsored by Realtor Carlie Smith), and then hit the 10-pin lanes at Cataract Bowl to celebrate your team’s fundraising success.
The day kicks off with a delicious brunch at Club Italia—complimentary for teams of 6–8 bowlers who reach the $1,000 fundraising minimum.

Location: Club Italia (2525 Montrose Rd, Niagara Falls) & Cataract Bowl (7906 Lundy’s Lane, Niagara Falls)
Time: Doors open at Club Italia at 9 a.m. Program starts at 10 a.m. but please leave lots of time to register and check out the great silent auction prizes! Bowling to follow “Brunching and Bidding” at 1 p.m.

Frequently Asked Questions
Cash, credit (Mastercard/VISA), debit, and cheques are all accepted when you pay for your auction items, but make sure to bring some cash if you would like to participate in “Heads or Tails!” (a $10 buy-in) and other activities throughout the day.
Yes. Club Italia has a large parking lot and does not charge for parking.
While we are raising money for a serious cause, this event is all about having FUN! Casual dress is perfect… and some teams even wear costumes or team t-shirts!
Don’t forget to bring any donations that were not made online (but make sure to enter them in the “offline donations” section of your fundraising site so we know your team’s total!). You can find a pledge form here.
Some of the day’s fun activities will be “cash-only” so we recommend that each participant bring at least $20 in cash to ensure you can participate!

Set up your online fundraising page for success!
Every bowler who registers for this event will have an Canada Helps online fundraising page, making it easy for friends and family to quickly make an online donation. Learn how to personalize your page, enter offline donations (e.g., cash, cheques) and more by clicking on the video link below.
share your campaign
Once you have set up your page, share your campaign with friends, family and colleagues by sending emails (click here for suggested text), talking to everyone you can think of, and creating social media posts. You can also share posts from Birchway Niagara’s social media channels (@BirchwayNiagara) and share a link for your personal fundraising page. Make sure to use the hashtag
#BrunchBidAndBowl.
inspire giving
Connecting potential donors to the impact of their gift is a great way to inspire donations. If you have a personal connection to Birchway Niagara, this is a great place to start. You can also share that every $150 you raise will provide one night of safety to a woman or child experiencing abuse. If, together, we reach our goal of raising $110,000 at this year’s event, it will be enough to operate two safe beds for an entire year! If some of your donors prefer to make their donation by cheque or cash, you can download a pledge form at the link below and bring it with you on event day. Make sure to visit the video link in the first tip for more information about entering offline donations into your online fundraising page so everyone can see your success!

All online and offline donations entered by 11:59 p.m. on March 6, 2026 will be considered for fundraising prizes. This year, there will be prizes for our top individual fundraiser, our top fundraising team, as well as incentives for teams that reach various fundraising levels.

Soon after this year’s event is over, Birchway Niagara will share the impact of your involvement and how much support was raised by our allies. Make sure to share this impact with your donors as well so they know what they helped to make possible!
